This is the first issue of Artlines, the Queensland Art Gallery magazine which contains themed issues, ideas-based writing, and visual arts news from the Asia–Pacific. The 48-page, full-colour August issue focuses on the moving image in contemporary art with contributions from UK-based curator Mark Nash, Greg Burke from New Zealand’s Govett-Brewster Art Gallery, and the Gallery’s Head of Cinema, Kathryn Weir. It also features the sumptuous images of Hong Kong-based Australian cinematographer Christopher Doyle, as well as Gallery news.
Artlines is published three times a year (April, August and December).
